Candlelit dinner table set on a stone terrace overlooking a city skyline at dusk

Destination private dining · Birmingham metro

Private dining at home, without hosting the work.

Birmingham, Mountain Brook and Homewood. Less vacation cabin, more dining room — the restaurant-quality evening brought into a house that already looks the part.

Birmingham · Mountain Brook · Homewood

Travel up to 4.5 hours from Nashville · $350 flat travel fee per event

This one is different from the mountain weekends. For Birmingham, Mountain Brook and Homewood, think private home rather than cabin weekend — your own dining room, and people you'd like to impress without spending three days getting ready for them.

I handle the menu, the shopping, the cooking and the service. A dedicated server keeps the table looked after, courses are cleared as they go, and the kitchen is clean before I leave. You spend the evening in your own chair.

Seated celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, a dinner for out-of-town guests, or a table you simply want to do properly.

Be a guest in your own dining room.

The kind of nights this suits

    • A seated dinner party at home
    • An anniversary or birthday you'd rather host than book out
    • A dinner for visiting family or out-of-town guests
    • An elegant evening where the host wants to stay at the table

    What's included

One dinner price. One travel fee.

Dinner pricing is fully inclusive of food, chef, tableware, a dedicated server, service and clearing, and cleanup. Destination dinners carry a $1,500 event minimum and a flat $350 travel fee per event.

Send me the address, the headcount and the hour. I'll confirm the kitchen and the service plan before the date is locked.

    A natural fit here

If you'd like a recommendation: The Southern Table is especially at home in a Birmingham dining room. Wild South and The Butcher's Table travel just as easily — and if none of them is quite the night you're picturing, I'll write the menu from scratch.

    Before you ask

    Travel, answered.

Can you cook in my home kitchen?

Yes. Tell me what the kitchen has and I'll confirm the setup with you before the date is locked, so nothing is a surprise on the night.

What does destination pricing look like?

The published per-guest menu price still applies. On top of that, destination dinners carry a $1,500 event minimum and a $350 flat travel fee per event — per event, never per guest and never per hour. The travel fee covers getting me, the food and the full service kit to your property.

Are food, service and tableware still included?

Yes. Dinner pricing stays fully inclusive: food and ingredients, plates and silverware, a dedicated server for the table, course service and clearing, and kitchen cleanup. Destination dinners add the $350 flat travel fee per event and carry a $1,500 event minimum.

What if the kitchen is limited?

Tell me what the kitchen has — oven, cooktop, counter space, fridge — and I'll confirm the setup with you before the date is locked. If something needs adjusting, we sort the menu around it in advance rather than on the night.
