Featured here: The Appalachian Table — created for this destination.

North Georgia weekends have a pace to them. The whole point of the house is that you don't have to be anywhere — which makes going back out for dinner feel like undoing the trip.

So the dinner comes in. Courses land at the table when they're ready, not when a kitchen across town clears a ticket. The night stretches. People stay in their chairs longer than they meant to, which is the whole idea.

The Butcher's Table is especially well suited here — big cuts carved at the table, sides passed around. But any of the dinners travels.

You get to stay at the table.

    Destination menu

    The Appalachian Table.

    Created for this destination

A four-course mountain menu built around smoke, sorghum, trout, roots, orchard fruit and the flavors of Appalachia.

A menu I wrote for the mountains rather than one I carried up here. Four courses, chosen one per course, served at your table as part of destination private dining.

    Regionally inspired. Thoughtfully sourced.

The menu is built around the flavors of the region, with seasonal and regional sourcing used whenever practical. Ingredients are chosen for the menu, the season, and the region — not pulled from a generic catering catalog.

Bowls of mixed greens and microgreens with heirloom cherry tomatoes and a berry vinaigrette

    Before you ask

    Travel, answered.

Can you cook in a cabin or rental house?

Yes. Rental houses and mountain cabins are a natural fit for destination dining. Send the listing or address and I'll confirm the kitchen and the table before your date is locked.

What does destination pricing look like?

The published per-guest menu price still applies. On top of that, destination dinners carry a $1,500 event minimum and a $350 flat travel fee per event — per event, never per guest and never per hour. The travel fee covers getting me, the food and the full service kit to your property.

Are food, service and tableware still included?

Yes. Dinner pricing stays fully inclusive: food and ingredients, plates and silverware, a dedicated server for the table, course service and clearing, and kitchen cleanup. Destination dinners add the $350 flat travel fee per event and carry a $1,500 event minimum.

What if the kitchen is limited?

Tell me what the kitchen has — oven, cooktop, counter space, fridge — and I'll confirm the setup with you before the date is locked. If something needs adjusting, we sort the menu around it in advance rather than on the night.
